WHY DOES PULSE HAVE A DRESS CODE?
- Improper clothing and dance shoes can impact safety, technical training, physical development (bones and muscles), precision, ability to grip the floor, visibility etc.
- Promotes inclusiveness, unity, professionalism with a focus on syllabus and progression.
- Dancers wear black leotards in class as it allows teachers to easily see the line of the body and correct for proper technique.
- Note: Hip Hop is a "street dance" therefore dancers are not required to wear black leotards and tights. Please see our "Dance Attire & Shoes" for specific dress code for this dance form.
